Lightning poles

1. High Mast Lighting Poles

High Mast Poles are towering polygonal steel structures designed for illuminating vast areas like airports, ports, and major highway interchanges. Ranging from 12m to over 40m, they feature an essential electric raising/lowering system (winch and lantern carriage) for safe, ground-level maintenance of multiple fixtures.

The Industrial and Infrastructure Workhorse. High Mast Systems are multi-section tapered polygonal (typically octagonal or dodecagonal) steel structures constructed from high-tensile steel plates. The mast is protected by a full Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) finish to ensure superior longevity and corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The defining feature is the lowering device, which includes an internal, self-sustaining electric winch, stainless steel wire ropes, and an automated headframe arresting mechanism. This allows the lighting ring (carriage) to be lowered for safe, efficient replacement of light fixtures (6 to 24 floodlights) without the need for height access equipment. Designed to meet stringent wind-load and safety standards (e.g., ASCE, BS EN).

2. Street Light Poles (Octagonal & Round Conical)

Versatile and durable poles (6m–12m) for standard street, roadway, and urban lighting. Available in Tapered Octagonal (for high strength and wind load) or Round Conical (for smooth aesthetics) shapes. Manufactured from galvanized steel or lightweight aluminum.

The Standard for Roadway Safety. These poles are the backbone of public illumination, commonly manufactured from galvanized mild steel (for strength and cost-effectiveness) or aluminum (for superior corrosion resistance, especially in coastal areas). The tapered design ensures optimal strength distribution. Octagonal Poles offer exceptional structural rigidity and are preferred for highways and main arteries. Round Conical Poles are often chosen for urban and commercial areas for their cleaner, modern look. Both types are available in single or double-arm configurations, utilize a Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) finish for anti-corrosion protection, and are installed using either anchor base plates or direct burial methods.

3. Decorative & Garden Lighting Poles

Aesthetically-focused columns (3m–8m) with ornate designs, ideal for enhancing the visual appeal of pedestrian areas. Typically crafted from Cast Iron, Aluminum, or Composite materials, featuring fluted/stepped shafts and custom finishes to blend with the landscape.

Combining Function and Architecture. Decorative poles are designed for areas where aesthetics are as important as illumination, such as parks, residential areas, city plazas, and heritage sites. They feature architectural elements like ornamental bases, decorative brackets, and choice of finishes including powder coating, custom paint, and antique styles. Materials like lightweight Aluminum and non-corrosive Composite/Fiberglass are favored for their low maintenance and resistance to rust. These poles are typically shorter (3m-8m) and are compatible with various luminaire styles, including traditional lantern fixtures and modern decorative LED heads.
